Ever since my epidural steroid injection in November of 2011, I have noticed that I have moments of foul body odor. It usually lasts for 2-10 minutes. I just stink up a funk storm and then I am fine. I thought this was rather weird. My friend noticed it too. I smell like I have been playing a hard game of football and then *poof* I am fine. No body odor.
It was getting better and then I had the medial branch nerve block injections and now it's back in full force. Today was awful! I have really stunk. Showering, deodorant, antiperspirant, body spray and everything else I have tried doesn't help. I just reek of funk then it goes away.
Has anyone else had this experience? I tried Google but I can't find anything on it. I notice it happens more when I am absolutely miserable (which I have been this week). I have been in so much pain this week it was unbearable. And now I am funk-a-licious for minutes, then fine. Then I reek again... then I am fine. I don't get it.

That is certainly a new one, I have never heard of or experienced that before. I have had injections and never experienced that before. Maybe we can find a answer to your quandry.

So, I had a steroid injection today for an allegic reaction to an antibiotic and ever since I have had bad odor too. I tried deodorant, body wash and it and keeps coming back. I feel you... I don't want people to smell me haha

When I had the back epidurals in 1990, it turned up my internal body furnace and it had me sweating more. I was wearing women's business suits to work and needed a small fan at my desk because I was sweating so bad. the doctor said it was from the cortisone in the epidural. I always felt like I needed several showers a day.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
