Activity after Laminectomy

I had my surgery on L3- L4- L5 ,,18 days ago ,,stayed @ hospital 5 days ,,then went to rehab for one week i was doing OK but 4 days ago i start to have very painful Ribs Cage spasms it still hurts very bad but today better than before,, i wonder if any one had the same surgery i have ,,WHAT kind activity you can do after 3 weeks,,when can you start drive,,or do laundry ,,or change your sheet on your bed,, my husband had neck fusion 9 weeks ago he can`t help with any thing but our daughter been staying with us for 8 weeks ,,,but she is going back to her husband they lives in California so no one will be with us..thank you all for any advice...

I had a 3 level fusion and 4 single Laminectomies and I remember that for the 3 level fusion I was to do nothing for 8 weeks. NO BLT (bending, lifting (more than 5Lbs. or twisting). What did your Doctor tell you????? You should not do any of the activities that you mentioned above. If you need help you might want to ask a family member, a friend, a neighbor or if your insurance will pay for it, you might need help at home.
IF you are having any pain that you find unusual, you should call your surgeon. Do not take it upon yourself, to think that is nothing....
Spinal surgeries are very delicate surgeries, you need to rest as much as you can and like I said no BLT for at least 8 weeks. Take care of yourself and I hope that you get better soon! Hugs,
