Thoroughly confused.
Last night from 8 until 11:30 I had extremely limited pain. I walked the dogs, with the use of my cane, but was able to walk them a bit faster than usual. I thought today I would feel just as good. NO SUCH LUCK! What the heck? I felt really good last night but today not so much. Really disappointed. Was hoping I was going to feel better for a while!!!

Awww...I was really hoping and praying for you, that your injections would work!!
So, did it help for a short period of time? They will want to know, at your next injection, how long the last one worked, if it worked at all.
I'm hoping today is a better day for you, and that your pain has not been too much worse, since your injection.
My last hip injection, it seemed like my hip got worse!!! I am just trying to walk around as much as my body allows me to...as I have hip, back, and knee ostesoarthritis, spinal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease, and am overweight. Many strikes agains me..and in my left hip, and left knee, I have bone on bone...so that's not easy on the left side, and I limp, and use a cane, i'm just a big ol' arthritic mess!
But, others have it worse than me, so i'm glad i'm not bedridden, or in a wheelchair 24/7, and have to thank god, that i'm able to walk, although not very well.

this just happened to me last week.. I had to stay home from work for 3 days as the pain was soo bad. and then the 4th I stayed home so I could do some walking to see how I would do, because at work I have a desk job but the facilities are a looonnngggggg Hall away FOR ME..to get water is even farther. the distances get me alot.
I to use a cane most of the time, and walker when it is bad. I have not had the courage to bring walker to work..
Boo that crazy arthritis is aweful, I am sorry you have to deal with it.. Have you had several injections? Everyone blames our issues on WEIGHT.. and then you cant excerise so then what.. This is my issue.. UGHHHH

It helped for a total of two days. I've had 3 L5-S1 nerve blocks, and 3 S1 epidurals. Now, I'm going back for one sacral joint injection.
Boo, I have a cane, and use it when I'm expecting to be up for more than 15 minutes, and expect no seating to be readily available. I am mortified to take it to work. My co-workers, and I work in healthcare, are so petty, and gossipy, that I am too afraid to use it at work. I hear ya! Was that hip shot the most recent? How are you feeling?
Bertie, I hear, and know what you mean, about not bringing the cane to work! I hope the second injection will work for you! Apparently, the injections are supposed to work after several of them. I am, lucky me, one of the people who gets minimal relief with them.
