Autoimmune Hepatitis Community Group
This group is for people who suffer from Autoimmune Hepatitis.
Anyone out there with this, please respond, there is so little information on this disease, I am devastated because I also have several other autoimmune diseases, but now my doctors have told me that I do have this and its considered a separate disease, they are starting me on cellcept and increasing my prednisone today because i have been in such a terrible flare. I would love to talk with someone else that has this.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago but am not on medication right now. I was just diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome 2 months ago and can not get on Plaquenil until I see my liver doctor in a couple of weeks. Something tells me that I will be put on meds for AIH because I have not been feeling well at all.

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax.
