I forgot to add this in my last discussion, but my local chapter of the Autism Society of America just had a walk event. It was the first one we'd ever had and wasn't sure how it would turn out. We were hoping for around 150 people to show up. I sat behind the registration with the treasurer collecting the donation forms and tshirt sales. The people and donations kept coming and coming and coming. When it was all said and done, over 600 people came, and we collected over $20,000, which will be used to help local families with autistic children get the services they need. Not too bad for small town Iowa!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
