Hello, my name is Jon, aka JDM50662.
We all know about the JERK who made such rude and irresponsible comments about autistic children.
Some time ago, at my vol. job, we had an autistic child with his mother here. While I wasn't totally sure that he was, but now (the same day when he left) my eyes have been opened. The child was totally and completely terrified of me! I now know that the seemingly smallest, and what we think are 'innocent' actions are a big deal to the autistic. The child didn't want to walk out the door--all because of me standing a few feet away from him!
That radio host should be banned from the air.
HIS COMMENTS REALLY PEED ME OFF (ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE COUNTRY?).
Please note: I am NOT Autistic, but I WOULD like to learn more about this illness! Thanks!
