I had to google the game but after looking at it and talking to my gamer hubby, I think you all should try him on geocaching. It's pretty much a treasure hunt using GPS coordinates. Here is a website to get you all started. One thing that my son's psych told us to do to help him transition is to have him practice deep breathing and reward his breathing with a little treat. That may help him during the first geocache. I have heard that it's very addictive, it gets the family out of the house, and I pray it helps to get him off of the computer. Good luck.

well my son's at that age was n't the computer. it was tv and particular shows of nick jr. He knew when every single one of them came on and refused to budge. I made a chart. I got down on his level and told him it was his schedule and that this was the new rule. I also told him he could have as many fits as he wanted but the rules would not change. I'm not saying it was easy. there were a lot of meltdowns but eventually, he learned that if he sticked to his schedule, he still got to watch tv and if he was especially good, then he would get extra tv time one day a week.

In addition to getting him involved in geocaching (Great Idea by the way) I would say that you need to set a time limit on how long he is allowed to play and make sure that you follow through with consequences.
