Hi - I'm new here as well. We have a 4-year old girl with severe autism, and a 6-year old with Asperger's. I have just come home from a "Moms" group picnic. We had a behavioral issue with my daughter and she screamed. The "hush" came over the group and I tearfully picked her up and left out of embarassment. We are trying to participate in social activities and sometimes it can be very difficult. Both our kids are making super progress, but with our girl it can be a challenge. Anyone had experience on how to gracefully manage issues like this? I feel like no one understands.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
