You should get an afib EKG tatooed on your arm. Have the word "afib" and your meds tatooed there too so you don't have to worry about losing your medical alert bracelet. If you change meds or have a successful ablation, you can have the meds or afib crossed out. You can continue this down your arm over time. With the way afib treatment goes, I would recommend starting high up on your arm. :-)

That is coming from my strict Catholic upbringing, but just had to say it in good conscience. Don't want Him mad at me. lol Although all of our kids have tatoos, my hubby too, and yes...I have to admit... I have a small one. Hey, you all know I'm an over thinker. Have to say what I'm thinking or I would think about it all day.

MaryAnn, love the tatoo idea! I've been toying with the idea as well, but probably wouldn't ever go through with it. My kids would never let me hear the end of it if I did, after all the teasing I've aimed at them :)

lol i have seven already so another one is not that big of a deal....i was going to get one soon anyway cuz its been a while. I was thinking of a sugar skull but can't really think of how that would incorporate with this one so....sugar skull may have to wait :)

How about a portion of an ECG that shows perfect NSR with well-formed p waves. Then whenever you go into afib you can always look at it and give your body a subtle hint.
