Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Good luck and enjoy looking at all the equipment in the cath lab before they sedate you.
By the way, I asked the anesthesiologist to give me the same thing as Michael Jackson got so I don't get nauseated later. He laughed and he said he knew what to do so I would be okay after the procedure. He did a good job since I felt great after I woke up 4.5 hours later.
Best wishes for you.
Scott
