Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
I just got information on my upcoming ablation now scheduled in March. They talk about the fluoroscopic guided procedures and how that might give you mild to moderate sun burn after the exposure.
Has anyone experienced that from the ablation procedure and how bad was it?

No I did not experience any type of sun burn. I did have mild chest pain, but that lasted only about a day or so.

the chest pain was from the burns I assume?

I ve been present during hundreds of vascular procedures using fluoroscopic guidance. None of the patients had any burns.

I had an ablation last month and did not experience any type of sun burn or pain and I have very sensitive, light-toned, skin.

No sunburn, but sadly it didn't work either.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
