Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
One of my sons did this training a few years ago.
I think you'll be a great EMT.
D.
I admire you for taking on this challenge. I went back to school at age 47 and it was one of the scariest and best things I have done, it was well worth it. Bravo to you! Can we come to your grad?
I think the BEST advice that Dear Abbey EVER wrote, was about 20 years ago. Someone had written in and said "I have ALWAYS dreamed for being a doctor, and want now to go to medical school. But everyone tells me it will take 8 years to get through medical school, and I will be 52 when I am ready to start in as a doctor. What should I do?" And Dear Abbey simply wrote "If you do NOT follow your life long dream, how old will you be in 8 years?" Go for it!
Rick
I admire your courage to change your career and follow your dreams. I have changed careers several times and each time it has worked out for the best.
I am sure your passion and caring will make you successful and if I need an EMT in the future I hope its you.
