Have you had any changes to your diet? You may already be aware of this but some foods increase effect and some foods decrease effect of warfarin/coumadin. Did your provider discuss eating some foods higher vitamin K? Something like a salad with spinach is sometimes recommended. Did they adjust your dosage? If they decreased your dose I would not also make dietary changes too.

My INR has been consistantly been 2-3 for the past 2 1/2 years. Last Tues. it was 3.2. I was advised to skip Warfarin for one day and be tested again in 2-3 weeks.
Coinsidently my weight uncharistically up 1 1/2 # the day I had my INR tested?

Don't get too hung up on numbers. INR goal range is 2.0-3.0. Anywhere in that range is fine. A slight drop might be from eating more green veg or high vit k foods. An increase could be due to alcohol, more fruits, taking tylenol or another OTC med like cough syrup. It might be that you just ate less greens than usual that week.
Generally, an INR up to 3.5 doesn't require any adjustment for someone who has been very stable. Get it rechecked again in a week and it will likely beback in range. If you continue to run high your Dr will give you instructions. Occasionally, patients will have a range of 2.5-3.5. Those withsome types of artificial heart valves. So you are still in a safe range.
