Hi Ray, just wanted to say it could be the Metropolol as well. I'm on a really high dosage, 400 mg, and I can't even think staight right now. I'm also on Digoxin, 250 mcg, but I think the Metropolol is wiping me out.
I have read other peoples comments on here and a few have had the same problems with lower dosages. I'm not saying you do but keep an eye out.
Whatever is causing it I wish you the best. Stay up.

It was digoxin I think that bothered me as I got better and doctor cut it half . I could not get to sleep at night with it and now can. Cutting the met down helped too I am sure. It seems to take time to get adjusted. My BP is normal for me on the low side. It is trying I know. I was on 150 Met to start with. They had me drugged that is for sure. I do tire easier but I am near 80 now. Normal for that. Told me stay out of hot sun.

Hi, I felt so tired, spaced and depresssed for about 3 weeks on the Metropolol. My diastolic # and pulse were roaming in the 40's, so they cut the metropolol in half and changed it to extended release. That helped alot, but in the afternoon I crashed into fatigue and listlessness. When I complained to my dr. she cut my Lisinopril in half.. (I also take Pradaxa.) I feel so much better. I was quite discouraged before, but now I am hopeful. Blessings to all

I think we all react differently to drugs. For years I took 200 mg of metropolol and never had any side-effects. I'm now on Sotalol and I'm extremely tired. I'm convinced we all act differently to drugs. I want back on the metropolol to be honest.
