Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
I just thought I might get the wheels turning to plan for a DS 4th of July Mega-Celebration Party for next year! Exact location TBD (to be determined).
What do you all think?
No alcohol, no iced coffee or tea, no hot or cold drinks. no hot tubs, no spicy foods, no foods with excessive magnesium or potassium content, no excessive exercise or the usual fun recreational things that people usually do at parties. No loud music as it might stress some people out. No gambling as that might also stress people out. Not too much fun playing Texas Hold'em without money involved. Actually there will be very little food served as some just cannot tolerate overeating. No napping either. In fact there will be no chairs provided to prevent people from napping/sleeping. Everyone will have to stand or assume the Lotus position, 'cos as we all know Yoga is the only thing that is good for Afibbers - RIGHT?
YogaCat can recite some of her best poetry. Petey can read some of his longest DS posts. Karen can hug everybody. ScottZZ can argue with everyone. IslandLuvr can disagree with everyone, and CLane (aka: Carrie) can console everyone.
As for me Surfrat (aka: Thomas) I'll make an appearance and then slip out the back door. Lol ;)

Okay, I don't want to be a party pooper, but what you are proposing for the party doesn't sound like a lively party at all, hahahahahahaha
Come on, this group can do a lot better than that, LOL. I wouldn't mind to argue with others (specially with petey) in the party and act as a rebel rouser, but I need some fuel like beer, shots, coffee, but no fish oil or potassium though. I am going to watch you and petey very closely so you guys don't slip some into my drinks to end the arguements! Hahahahahahahahaha
May be I should take over arranging for this party rather than you, LOL. Man, you need some help in the party planning department :-)
