Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

Well here in NJ we just got a whopper of a blizzard ... with the associated low pressure system. Of course, I had an AFIB episode starting mid-day yesterday and ending about an hour ago (about 14 hours -- long for me). I've run across some minor research that does draw some association between the weather and AFIB, but whether its the low pressure, the electro-magnetic changes, the cold, or the snow shoveling, is speculative at this point.
I don't think it's the electro-magnetic thing. I spend my work day in a data center with thousands of computers, and that doesn't bother me. I vote for the low pressure. Any opinions?
I do agree with your wife to pace yourself and listen to your body. It does sound like you overdid it.
