Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
I used to be a heavy diet soda drinker. I have sicne switched to Perrier, Pellegrino or Polar SPrings sparkling water.

Have I mentioned that I am sweet enough?
your question,
Wow, this is crazy stuff. Aspartame is in a TON of products. Steve, was this the first diet soda that you indulged in these many years? "
is a really good one. The diet soda is definitely the first one since my heart became more sensitive to alcohol in January. I cannot remember when I had my last diet soda.
Steveinn,
I read the article and it sounds like the purification possible gets one good fish oil. The technique of codistillation to enhance purity is something I have done to make certain chemicals. So that step is legit. Then transesterifying the ethyl esters to get triglycerides back is a messy step. I would like to see the chromatography of PRN's product vs. natural fish oil. I don't plan on making a move to ingest any kind of fish oil ( except what I get in fish) until the researchers at major hospitals do their work. The VITAL study has three more years to go. Now I can say this because I have very low cholesterol. So assuming fish oil is for lowering cholesterol I don't really need it. If fish oil has an effect on arrhythmias then that is another story.
