I am totally with you on this one Tom and a couple of others I know will agree. I have a couple of *friends* that I do messaging witih here also and half the time we cant even do messages cause they dont load and dont send so there is definitely something amiss.......

Things have changes in the past week for sure. I'm also Mac based on Safari and page loading has become extremely slow. It may be a server issue and it's especially slow when sending private messages to other members. I would imagine this has been reported but I'll send a message through "contact us" under "Help" at the top right.

Also, like Rick I've noticed password issues as well. When landing on the home page(Afib Support Group) I will not be logged in but if I click on a posted thread I'll be logged in when it pops up, very strange.

Haven't had a problem on my ipad.

Ditto with log-ins and messaging on a Mac with Firefox.

I've experienced the same thing for sure. I have a WIN 8 PC, using Google Chrome. Very slow, esp sending messages. I keep wondering if it will go or not!!

Same here. Slow. Got hijacked twice. Password sometimes comes up (saved) sometimes not. Sometimes goes directly i to an individual post.

I wonder if the site has been compromised? Great forum, but I'm not 100% sure where this thing is based or who is running it. Hopefully, things will work out.

Hi Everyone, It is DS. Some folks think it is because they closed the live chat line, Meebo. The pokey posts started the same time the chat line closed.

In the almost 2 yrs. that I have been here, they have had several similar issues. They have closed the posts down for a weekend 2x to try to remedy issues.

They definitely are doing a better job of keeping the PinkLover folks away.

I think contacting them with your displeasure about the 86 second delay to add a message post can only help. I've done it several times. I know they are aware of it. If you just stay on the afib site to post, it is OK....it is when you message elsewhere. I also have the same situation as Petey...having to log is sometimes. I have also been totally closed out in the past.

I don't know who is 'in charge' of DS. There are regular DS members that make up the 'DS' team and they monitor sites and complaints.

I do know, that our posts and pictures are in cyberspace and can be viewed by others. If you type in your user name +Daily Strength, you will see your posts. I was shocked when I found my Kitty's picture "out there"!

I use Windows 7 and Bing for my Browser.

I am having the same issues with delay in private messages sending and the password issue

Well this morning i thought I might have better success accessing the site/forum via "search' on google.

In my innocent attempt to do this I was surprised at the suggested results.

I saved a screen capture, I cannot can embed a picture here on DS in the message body.

Hence:

This is what came up: dailystrength.org/groups/women-who-love-too-much

I guess any theories about PinkLover being under control are just rumors after all.
