Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
My son is severely allergic to peanuts and was an athlete at college. One day the university cafeteria used peanut oil in the preperation of some of the food on the line and didn't label it. My son ate some and had an immediate reaction. Only after several shots was he out of danger.
Do tell your Doc. It's nothing to fool around with.

Yeah go and tell your docotr. you can also get a blood test done to see if you are allergic to anything else.
