Asthma Support Group
Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
I would like to see a bracelet that looks like it's just something a woman would wear.
I'm not sure if I pasted this one correctly, so you'll have to let me know. This is where I found mine. I called yesterday, and it's being shipped today.
There was also another link that I found where you could "hide" your info on a long strip of paper in a locket compartment so that it wasn't all in the open for people to see. Not quite sure what the site was or how thick these lockets are, but they looked "OK" to me; I don't see me actually wearing one though. I'm too froo froo for that basic. LOL.

and attached it to a fairly plain Brighton bracelet (you can view their bracelets here: http://www.brightonretail.com/store/wishlist.php?m=product_list&c=33&page=1). I chose a fairly plain bracelet I wear always. Brighton always has heart charms attached to their stuff, so no one has even given my bracelet a 2nd look. However, I know that an EMT will look for it. As mentioned before, I didn't put ALL of my medical info on the bracelet, just my condition, prednisone and "Check Wallet". My wallet has a page long description of my issues. Because, really, they are no one else's business. Anyway, that's how I worked through the social stigma for myself....
htag and Danika added a site each that I think I like and may use.
These are less obvious.
Thank you very much.
:+)
