Asthma Support Group
Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
My asthma is predominantly allergic asthma. In the Northeast, we are just starting to get moderate to high pollen levels.
Many hugs and healing thoughts your way. Did you need to start prednisone ?
Update when you can,
Carol :)
How are you feeling? I hope better.
Even the girls I work with had their inhalers out this week...they never need one! So far so good for me :)
A little snow flakes today and rain this pm. Keeps the pollen low....for now.

I live in Florida, and this is brush fire season. I get chest pains even before I can smell the smoke. Sometimes I can't spend time outside at all until the wind shifts and blows the smoke away. The pollen bothers me too, my ears itch like you wouldn't believe.
I read about it online & it works for me.
