Yes! But I look at it this way, the more antibodies you can build up from fighting colds, the better off you will be. And catching colds is kind of inevitable in some situations I think. I mean, you cant live in a bubble right?

You are right and, I guess I am not so worried now that I am no longer working. I used to work around gals that would come to work coughing and sneezing, with temps, etc.

my nephews have upper respirtatory infections and one was over my house today. i stayed in my room all day until he left. i didnt even eat.
hes not old enough to know when he coughs he should cover his mouth.

I feel the same way -- and I'm the mother of a 5-year-old. For the last three years, she must have brought home 15 colds a year, and we got all of them. I never kiss my kid on the mouth, since I never know what might be incubating but not yet showing. All the fear of H1N1 flu this year has worked in our favor, however -- everyone's using hand sanitizer compulsively. I'm definitely staying away from people with even a sniffle.

i got a cold dfrom running around like crazy so no more of that. after 8 weeks in bed from sinussitis and bronchitis, now more suffering:{
