My niece refuses to wear almost all clothes....

I have a niece that is 11 and she will not hardly wear and kind of clothing. She cuts the elastic on the sides of her underwear and she will not wear pants unless she is absolutely forced too, but then she cries and wiggles and freaks out the whole time she has them on. She won't wear any dresses or shirts because the seams really bother her. She has one dress that she wears all day long, she is also homeschooled because of it,  but they obviously can't stay in their house all day. She is also starting to become a lady and I cannot even imagine how hard that's going to be for my sister. I have tried looking up ideas on how to make her cloths and also I've looked for stores that might sell them but I have not found anything yet that is helpful. I would love any kind of sewing tips or patterns or websites that might help me be able to help my sister. Thanks to everybody on here.

Hi....I have an aspie son who would just go nuts with any type of seams....especially sock toe area and tags behind the neck. What I'd offer is to let 'her make decisions'....took me a very long time to understand so much of what was inappropriate behavior by my son was because he '''had no voice''''.... so let her wear dresses, undershirts and maybe boxer shorts....coming from hindsight...best to you :)

Thank you for your advice, but my sister is very good with her about the stuff. Hence the reason she only wears one dress all the time.
;) I am trying to get some sort of sewing tips or websites where I might can learn to make or order clothes to try on her.. I reworded my post to be more specific on what I need. Thank you for taking the time to answer me. And I hope you have a really pleasant day.

Personally, I can only wear 100% cotton. I suggest checking the composition of the material of that one dress that she's OK with.

I just realized that I forgot to post a comment to say thank you to Miro853. The link that you gave me didn't necessarily give me patterns but it gave me a greater insight into my nice. My sister is very wonderful with her, but I want to try to be able to help out any way I can. I have been trying to come up with my own patterns to make a dress seamless without looking like it's inside out. I do agree, it is part material part seams that is the biggest problem for her. If I get any ideas I will share them. Otherwise thank you so much for commenting and taking the time to try to help me out. :)

When my daughter had the same problems, I came to a local store and asked them for clothing boxes. That is, they already gave me ready-made sets of clothes, and I tried so hard to find what my daughter likes. And I managed to find two or three ready-made sets of clothes for her. And thus, she decided what to wear. I didn't want to hinder her in choosing clothes because I know what it's like when you're not allowed to wear what you want. I went through it myself as a child. Therefore, before you buy something for your children or relatives, it is better to ask them if they want this thing or not.

    I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...

    Has anyone heard from Jenn, she had an adult son with aspergers, Eric, they lived a long time with her grandmother, then they moved into an apartment. She had a funny little picture if I recall of a short dark haird woman as part of her name in a red dress.There are so many people who have dropped away from this room...I wonder where they are, and miss them.
