my daughter never asked for anything when this whole process started, now she asks permission for everything, can i go to the bathroom can i have a drink dad can i eat something. she is high function and capable of doing all of these things herself. i love her to death but its getting annoying, dad can i change the channel, and no matter how many times we tell her she does not have to ask, she asks anyway. she is 12 is this a phase aspies go through??

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
