Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction.
If you've taken both, which worked better for you. I've been on meloxicam for about 5 years for my knee. Pain is starting to spread to other joints. Wondering if a change is in order.
Any other med advice will be welcomed.

I am new to this. My husband took Celebrex several years ago and it seemed to help, but we changed Dr.'s and it has never been offered again.

Definitely change up if you need to... Lots of options... Sulindac, Dolobid, etc . Discuss with your doc. Are you on MSM/ glucosamine? Anti-inflammatory diet?

I took meloxicam for a few years too but kept hurting so the doctor put me on clebrex. I can tell a difference. I've tried to go back on meloxicam just because of the price difference. Meloxicam is generic and celebrex isn't. But I could tell after a few days the meloxicam wasn't working for me anymore. I googled it and celebrex is supposed to loose it's patten in May of 2014 so maybe they will come out with a generic then.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
