I also take MoveFree which has glucosamine, chondrotin, and MSM. It's OTC but very effective.
Hope you find the right combination too!

Im glad for you that you found a regimen that works for you. From my online research, Ive found that pain relief is very much an individual thing. What works for some doesnt work for others and vice versa. Im still getting quite a lot of relief from the cortisone injections I had a couple of weeks ago so Im not looking to change anything right now. I still take Ibuprofen but Ive cut back from 1600mgs per day to just 800mgs. I also take low dose aspirin for heart protection and that helps my knee pain as well. Right now Im in limbo waiting for approval from my insurance company for the Synvisc injections. Im hoping the approval comes before I have to leave town in three weeks to take care of my daughter who is expecting her second child any week now.
I was crippled with Arthiritis, so bad that I could not walk down the stairs in my house; getting out of the car is a choa; and I hate to go shopping, couldn't walk and carry shopping bags. My left arm would tear apart if I carry anything even for a kg of sugar. so so bad.
My 80 year old elderly friend taught me how to tackle the stair by walking down backwards.....lol...have any one tried that?? It works! But I am no where near 80, seems like my used by date it up..OMG!!!!!
The good news is that I am now set free from Arthritis completely. I can run up and down the stairs, lift up heavy things. Such a simple answer to a cure. No Medication, no treatment is required. It is fabulous! and best of all ...It free! oh the doctors will hate me for telling u this secret.
I went gluten free. In 2 weeks, my pain is all gone. Amazing.
Gluten is the protein found in wheat, oats, barley, rye and spelt.
It is the body's inability to digest the gluten protein, causing the immune system to produce antibodies that attack the joints causing inflamation.
Never in my life will I believe that the humble bread is the cause of all my joint pain, who could think of it???? But it is true. I am a living walking example of this arthiritis syndrome cause by gluten.
I love bread, so now, I resort to eating gluten free bread, made from Quinon. A little bit of lifestyle adjustments. I also suffers from acute psoraisis... which incidentally, I found out a simple cure and become psoraisis free in the last 2 months. Same thing, no cure ,no treatment, no cost, absolutely free.... stay away from eggs.
No egg diet. My body cannot ingest the egg protein, the immume system attacks it and produce hystermine. Hystermine causes itchy blisters to break out into sores, plagues and flakey skin. Skin inflamation, weeps and cracks..... how awful! A very debilitating disease.
My heart goes out to you guys who suffers from Psoraisis and arthiritis. I don't know which is worse, I had both, so it was a double wammy. I found my answer/cure. That is why I am sharing it with you guys. In actual fact, there is no cure for arthiritis and psoraisis, taking pain killers just mask it temporarily. taking creams and steroids, Neorals for T-cells blockers... all are temp relieve only. I had them all. When you are desperate, you will try any thing for a temp relief.
Hugs for everyone. Don't give up. Be persisitant and seek a total cure. Your answer is nigh.
Gluten could have a negative effect. We all know processed white flour and white sugar can be harder on our bodies than whole wheat flour and raw sugar or honey.
Sometimes things we have taken granted for years become a problem for us like penicillin. Asthma is affecting more people these days. For years I had indigestion and was on medication for GERD. I made a few dietary changes, adding yogurt was the most amazing and easiest, and am GERD free. No more meds, no antacids, and rarely any indigestion.
Thanks for the info on gluten. It will give us all something to think about.
Good luck and God bless,
Marcia
