That sounds very painful. I'm sorry for all what you've been through. It's terrible that the surgery was suppose to remedy the problem and hasn't. What has that doctor said to you since the surgery after he assured you that you would "walk great". I would be so mad with him/her.

Pain management is something to discuss with the doctor.
There are pain relievers the doc maybe able to prescribe you that aren't narcotics.

Also have you tried any over counter Meds like Ibuprofen or acetaminophen? However You still need to discuss with doctor what you should be taking for the type of pain you have. He/she can advise you.

I wish you all the best for the surgery whenever that will be and things will improve for the best.

I have arthritis in my spine. It gets so complicated, because one thing relates and affects something elso. Sometimes my pain is debilitating...the next week, minimal...I don't understand it~

I have had arthritis in my hands and feet for years, some mornings I could not bend my feet they hurt so much, I was taking Mobic. Just recently I was dx with degenerative arthritis of the spine.
