Pain management is something to discuss with the doctor.
There are pain relievers the doc maybe able to prescribe you that aren't narcotics.
Also have you tried any over counter Meds like Ibuprofen or acetaminophen? However You still need to discuss with doctor what you should be taking for the type of pain you have. He/she can advise you.

I have arthritis in my spine. It gets so complicated, because one thing relates and affects something elso. Sometimes my pain is debilitating...the next week, minimal...I don't understand it~
