Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction.
a few months ago, my knee started hurting and I eventually had an mri that showed arthritis.
i ended up seeing an orthopedic dr and having a cortisone shot in my knee.
then, I fell twice and now an mri shows torn meniscus and bone bruise.
The ortho dr recommended physical therapy and at first said I’d need surgery to clean up my knee, etc
after physical therapy, I’m better but my knee still hurts when I walk.
the ortho dr wants to give me another shot of cortisone, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea.
i need your opinion.

If you have Arthritis, your knee will hurt, that's a fact, you need to learn how to deal with that pain, learn how to exercise safely to manage the pain. Know that certain things will exacerbate the pain, like Barometric Pressure changes, Rain, Cold, Snow, etc.
Heat helps with Arthritis pain, things like Tiger Balm or Icy Hot when there's swelling. Exercising in a Pool is great for Arthritis, since it displaces your body weight.
Arthritis will be with you for the rest of your days, so doing some research and finding the best ways to effectively change your life for better treatment of the disease will help you a lot.
