I was just recently Dx'd with RA. So I am new to this group and the disease.
Hope I can give and receive good info from the group. I was referred by my Oncologist to a Rheumatologist that I will see for the first time in a few weeks. I don't know what to expect. I have in addition a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma called Waldenstrom that has been in remission since 2007. I find it interesting that the Rituxan that I had for my Lymphoma is also used for RA. Is that correct? I do not have any pain at all, just morning stiffness from waist down that diminishes after walking around for 30 minutes or so.
Seems like the more I walk the better I feel. Hope I can keep walking for my exercise.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

on Prednislone but after he started feeling better he stopped taking it.
He has some flairs now and again but mostly just puts up with it.
He is 84 and long retired.
Good luck with yours. He says when it hurts is bad.
