Hi and Welcome....I'm so sorry you are dealing with these ailments and hope your doctor determines exactly what conditions you are afflicted with and gets you on the proper medications. This is exactly me. I got fibro 5 years ago after I went through chemotherapy. Now my joints are going to hell. I had to go to a dermatologist for them to make that exact diagnosis, but it was just given to me 4 days ago.

My neuro and my D.O. didn't believe I had arthritis. They didn't want me to bother to see a rheumatologist. I went anyway. I needed to go for my fibro anyway. And now, I find out I have arthritis.

If you have a doc that is being wishy-washy.....please find another doctor. It's so important to find a doctor who will make a correct diagnosis. Good luck!

I was diagnosed 3 years ago (after many years of suffering) by a specialist with both fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis. I do have visible psoriasis, and think it is hereditary because my dad also had it. The specialist informed me after the diagnosis that there is no cure, but I can manage the pain with Tylenol, Advil, or Aleve. Hmmmm....can't take Aleve, and from what I've been reading Advil should not be taken by people over 50 years of age as it can cause heart attacks. So I was left with Tylenol. I do take it when this condition flares up badly. I just wish I knew what made it flare up. It's so random. The answer to not being able to sleep at night because of pain, was to vape cannabis. It has helped me a lot to be able to sleep. I just wish there was a cure and it would go away completely!
