Alot of my patients use celebrex or ones like it. It may help just enough with ur pain. Is easier on stomach than over the counter NSAIDS. The bad stuff about heat probs were related to higher than 400 mg a day which isn't usually prescribed. U can try for a week and see what u think. It may work..may not. It is brand name so more expensive. Mobic is in same family but has generic and is on 4 dollar list at Walmart. Good luck with ur pain and Parkinson's. Hope u have more good days than bad days.

We all have very unique chemistries.......so what works for one person may not be right for someone else.

In the case of Celebrex, it was a real wonder for me! I went from struggling hard to rise, walk, so stiff and in pain to feeling better. It was suggested that I increase the dose from 200mg to 400mg and I was moving like action Barbie.......for me that means walking with a normal gait, being able to rise & stand normally and a lot less pain.

If I overdo physical activity, my body still hurts......if I slow the pace, good self-care plus Celebrex......it helps me so much.

Try it and see if it works for you, it was also much easier on my stomach than other meds previously tried......a huge bonus.

i take it 2 times a day for years now. Nothing else as far as advil,tylenol ect
