Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction.
Anyone on celebrex? There is a recall on it. I have chronic kidney disease stage 3 because of it. I may be able to sue the pharmaceutical company on Monday. The MRI shows damage to my kidney. Anyone else with problems with celebrex?
I recall hearing something more recently about Celebrex but I am not certain it was a recall. I know some people really have good results with these drugs and that is a shame. With any medication (compound) there is always risk, unfortunately. Although new meds take long to develop and must go through all kinds of testing and approval by the FDA, new side effects are often discovered when released to the general public. (sometime after many years) On the other hand, pharmaceuticals have come a long way and have helped in so many ways to improve our quality of life and manage disease. I'm not making light of some of the serious complications they may cause--even death. It does seem to be a risk many of us are willing to take when benefit outweighs risk.
