Cardiac arrhythmia is a group of conditions in which the muscle contraction of the heart is irregular or is faster or slower than normal. Some arrhythmias are life-threatening medical emergencies that can cause cardiac arrest and sudden death. Others cause aggravating symptoms, such as an awareness of a different heart beat, or palpitation, which can be annoying.

Anyone out there who had a problem with these after having surgery!

Yes, I have PVC all the time.I had open heart surgery as a child and now have an ICD implant. PVC's come with the territory.

Hi Deb, I too had way too many PVC's which developed from me taking flecainide for my a-fib. I had a PVC ablation and felt great after. No more shortness of breath or being tired. Dr. Christopher Cole in Colo. Springs is one of the few doctors that does ablations for PVC's. He's wonderful.

mine got really bad after I have a c section with my daughter. It was pretty scary, though I have them alllllllllllllllll the time it seemed worse after the section.
