General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hi! I know my doctor is going to switch my medicine when I see him tues and im super nervous. I do a lot outside of medication to manage my anxiety like therapy not drinking alcohol coffee support groups excersize meditation etc.... But I think meds have helped me too
I am on Prozac now and it worked on and off for a couple years but now it's obviously not working. My anxiety has come back. Panic attacks and all crying not wanting to get out, the whole lot. Usually it will come and go and then I'm back to my old self but this time it's hung around 1.5 months. And last time close to three. And that was six months ago
We've tried different doses to no avail this time. I've also tried to go on some other meds. I was on Effexxor which was amazing until I tried to go off it. I also did a couple weeks of celexa and the side effects were bad. Same with Paxil. I felt like I was on a bad trip
The only one I havent tried is Zoloft. Any success stories here? Not looking for a lecture on how bad these psychotropic drugs are. I know that but I think me wanting to jump off a building is worse.
Just some thoughts on zoloft.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

The only symptom I had was drowsiness during the first weeks of taking it.
It definitely helped me get through the days. I don't have any complaints personally with regards to Zoloft.
For me it was Prozac that cause terrible side effects. But everyones body reacts differently. So just make sure you are aware of the side effects, keep a journal of your experience during the start of taking them and stay in communication with your doctors.
Good luck! :)
I'm doing a lot of stuff to get better hopefully this will be another key'
I started out with 25 mgs, then stopped because I was feeling better.
After about three weeks, I had a major panic and anxiety attack, and am on 50mgs in the morning. I make sure to take it with a full glass of water.
Give it a try and keep track of everything.
Best wishes.
