hey, does zolft cause the heart to race just curious wondering if its the meds or me .

could be you i never had an issue with Zoloft, but? different people react to different medications such as Anti-DEPREESNTS ..could be you because your overly Anxious to be taking a med to help you settle down some its hard to sit here and say YES OR NO you know?

my mum and husband are on zoloft in uk we know it as sertraline, husband is on 50mg and my mum is on 150mg they dont have the racing heart. they dont have any side effects they say. We all different though. Maybe it is just your anxiety!!!

I've just started taking zoloft a week ago - 50mg a day. I started with several side effects initially - diarrhea, nausea and loss of appetite. The side effects decreased on day 3 and are now completely gone. I did and still do feel my heart racing. Most of the time it's subtle but I notice it. I am pretty happy with the med though - it's just helped me to not over analyze and beat myself up over every single thing I do. It's still early days though..

I take 50 mg a day and do not feel my heart racing unless I am anxious. But like the others have said we are all different. Good luck

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
