Yes my list can get quite technical. If I'm not careful when I brush my teeth, I end up only brushing the bottom set and that's that. I do this diversion with or without a panic attack. To me it gets useless when a panic attack starts.
found helpful. If you feel an attack coming on , focus on an object and
try to name 10 things about it. Something as simple as a leaf will work..
its green , it has ragged edges, it is flat, etc. Its a way to occupy your
mind beyond what youre feeling. I also find that slow controlled breathing helps.
Alcohol is also relaxing but I always feel way worse after I sober up.
Coming here helps me more than anything. I get to write all my issues out in my journal or a post on here and it makes me feel better and not so alone!

I find it interesting that when my team is losing, "anxiety UP".....team winning....."I get all happy".
