My cat,Sam has diabetes.
When i found out i was devestated.
i was so scared of giving him his insulin.
Afraid i would not be able to do it,afraid i'd give him too much and his blood sugar would drop dangerously low.
Just as i finally got used to giving it to him, (Although when it grows near to insulin time,i still get anxious.) his vet called yesterday and told me he has hypertension.
He will need medication for this of course, and now i am as anxious as i was a couple of months ago when i was learning to give him his insulin.
The med comes in a liquid, which i HOPE will be easier than a pill, but i can still see him not letting me give it to him.
If this is the case, the vet told me there are drops i could put in his ear.(i can still see him not letting me do it though.)
Yesterday i watched some youtube videos about how to give liquid meds to a cat.
All i could find were videos of people using treats as a reward for taking thier medicine.
But,no treats for a diabetic cat.
Now i am what-iffing again.
"What if i give him too much and his blood pressure drops to a dangerous level?"
"What if i can't give it to him period?"
i don't understand why all this has happened to him.
He is such a sweet, loyal, and loving kitty.
He has been my best friend for almost 13 years.
Yes,he's a senior cat.
A senior cat with health problems.
i love him so much.
i'd never let him suffer, but i am not ready to let go.
i desperatly need to cry but i can't.
Sorry for yet another post from me....

I am curious of what everyone thinks it's the funniest joke/skit ever done. For me it was Monty Python doing 'the world's deadliest joke' For the younger crowd, you should really watch some of the old Python shows. They were the 'beatles' of comedy
