Does anyone ever feel like their job is the root of a large part of their anxiety? I have avery high stress job (HR) I know my anxiety would still consume me even if I didnt work and I would still need my meds but sometimes I feel like work is really driving everything. I just got back to work after a 2 week vacation and the horror of returning to work almost makes me not want to take vacation again. I can't even enjoy the weekends becuase all I think about on Saturday and Sunday is going back to work on Monday. Does anyone else feel this way?

When I was on vacation, I felt HORRIBLE just thinking about how much I dread going back to work. The anxiety I felt during my vacation was worse than being at work, if that makes any sense.
The thing is, I love what I do, but I hate how much it consumes me and how I fear failing or not doing a good job. I often wish I could find the perfect career in which I don't have to feel this way everyday. On Saturdays and Sundays, like you, I just worry about going back.
It's Sunday evening right now and guess what I'm doing... checking the Anxiety Support Forums.
Best Wishes...
