The $1.8 mil contract I was working on since fall will award on time today. Fiance says the situation is trash but better than last year. So I think i have been complimented.
Have you read "Raising Kids with Big, Baffling Behaviors" by Robyn Gobbel
It's a very interesting read about trauma and how kids deal with it.
One of the interesting tidbits is that no one can self-regulate, humans can only co-regulate. When a child you need adults to show you how to deal with stressful situations, and as an adult you drawn on those memories of your role models to navigate your current stresses.
If you handle stress by withdrawing or playing dead like a possum, you cannot be logically or emotionally talked out of this strategy. You have to rest your brain to recover.
I am only 1/3 way through and I recommend this read even if you are not raising children. also learn about the attachment cycle.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
will i be adding aggravation to injury by offering another compliment? well done on that $1.8 mil contract. way to go! ! !
i'm fostering 3 young children and i am not likely to make it through the stacks already donated to the cause, but i have met the theories of self/co regulation in my personal healing journey. thank you for the opportunity to approach a group discussion on the subject.
i happen to believe in self-regulation, but co-regulation is something i can get passionate about. to my senses, co-regulation feels like some higher cosmic bonding i have done in my life. whichever side of the crisis i am on, whatever the demographics of my co-regulators, co-regulation has led me to sensory int.e i have yet to find words for.
i have wondered often if prayer/meditation groups can be good potentials for co-regulation. just wondering. most i have attended were misses, but the hits rocked my senses.
