Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I am finding that every single morning as I wake up my stomach churns over, I dont really want to get out of bed, but I do, I am usually up by about 8am. During the day as I go about my daily routine, the bed looks so inviting to just get back in it and feel safe. I have a low libido but my husband a high one I see sex as a chore I have to go through to keep him happy, I am really not interested. For those that dont know I am a carer for my daughter for 24 years and am getting all the help I can, which isnt much, 12 hours a week in a care centre, and thats it there is no more in the UK.
I have one good friend, no others, I dont attend social groups because we cant afford it, and I cant leave Emma in case she has a bad seizure. She feels safest with me and her dad. My family support has died, they being both my parents and I have no siblings. The cousins I grew up with live hundreds of miles away.
Any suggestions.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

I haven't found any quick cures, but the load is easier when shared. Vent freely. Vent often. Continued support while you find your smile.
I've given up on knowing, "Why?" In my own psychobaggage car, finding my why's never seems to help much. The why's of all my psychoweirds always seem to be *Just* more rocks to make my stomach churn.
Can you get your husband to watch her maybe for 2 hrs a week? Where you get to get away...leave the house...go shopping alone, take a class (yoga, meditation, art, photography, dance, go to gym, learn a new skill, cooking...etc).
Even if it's just these 2 hrs a week you get to do something YOU wanted to do or learn...it will do wonders for your spirit.
You will be a happier person, and a better caretaker for your daughter b/c of it.
There are many classes online that are offered for free...like learning a new language or skill.
There will be others in your situation in these classes and you might even strike up some new friendships!
Sending you light and love!
There are so many classes and so many groups here that can help you navigate.
