Do you think that once you felt the chest pains you constantly worried about it? If so, that's probably why your muscles started tensing up and got to the point it did. I have health anxiety and have to talk myself down quite a bit. If I were to get chest pain, I would have to ignore it and rationalize in my brain,tell myself that it's nothing. That would help me to avoid panic.
I got mad instantly and we got into a huge fight.
Anyway best to you and I understand how it is worrying about every little health issue like the world was going to end. :)
Not that you've asked for anyone's advice, but if I were in your situation, I'd acknowledge my husband's obvious animosity towards my children, but go on anyway. It's your house too right? And those are your children and grandchild whom you love most in this world. He can just deal, just like you have to w/ his kids. (I don't know how you feel about them, just sayin) That's what marriage is about, uniting your lives.
My mom always tells me... use the same energey you've been using to think negatively, to think positively. Wake up and think, 'Oh MY! (and she is this quirky) today is wonderful! I feel wonderful! Today is going to be awesome!'
and you know what? It may not work 100%, but it beats moping around in fear, thinking you're dying.
