It's a given...isn't it? We disappoint people from time to time? You can learn to pick yourself up and go on.
Then life will end. Most likely, more people than you know will miss you.
You will find new friends.
You will learn to live without him (my father died when I was 23). Make it a priority to find two or three people who are really meaninful in your life. Put time into those relationships, and while not keeping "score" make sure that they're making you a priority too.
While I suppose that it's possible that you're a figment of my imagination...I doubt it...I'm really not all that creative.

I don’t know the story about your Dad so all I can say is if he never does he never does, but that shouldn’t change how you live your life.
