Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Its been a while since I posted. Once my lexapro kicked in, I was back to normal. Sleeping better, getting through my day happy, eating. But because of the stress of cleaning out my parents home and getting it ready to sell, it has put me in a funk. Especially in the mornings. I have been taking 1/2 of xanax to get myself going in the day. Then just like before as the day goes on I do feel better. But I am glad I am not near what I was before the Lexapro. Im gratefull for that. A lot of stress I guess, the house, my parents home with all its happiness will be gone. The election, my dad is in a Asssited living by me which is good. I have a great family. But my mornings are getting hard again. I dont understand a lot of what is happening to me. And i am scared of that. I know I am rambling. But everyone here is very kind and helpful. I appreciate all of your comments.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Those items that feel like a problem, look at them as projects to be completed.
You're doing a terrific job and writing it out helps relieve tensions and stress.
For what it's worth
I never really understand my anxiety, but letting myself write ^it^ out helps me cope. I often think understanding is overrated. ^It^ is what ^it^ is, whether I understand it or knot.
Yes. Definitely getting ready to sell a home is very stressful. You have to clean it and people will come over to look at it. So you will have to leave. That can be a inconvenience on your part. Then when you do sell, packing everything up is a chore. Hang in there. Anxiety is something I never could understand either like Arfie said. It's just something I started having about 6 years ago. I know at that time I was going through a lot. So I do believe that triggered it. But it has gotten better. Here's to finding your balance. You take it easy.
