Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
On Thursday, about 30 classmates from my class (1976) walked with the graduating class of 2026. It was quite the experience. We were made to feel extra special. Not only were we cheered on by the class of 2026, but the entire crowd in the bleachres cheered us on. Personally, I felt like a rock star! I am not really an emotional person but I got a little teary-eyed on the way there. What a milestone! What memories! It had been 50 years since our graduation at the same stadium. I actually remember what I wore, other than the cap and gown. We sat through graduation. The class president got choked up when he was thanking his parents for their support and we cheered him on. Many of us took pictures of the event and I especially like the one where we are waving at the crowd. Next up is our class reunion in August. We are going to see some faces that we haven't seen in 50 years! We have had two donations which are allowing us to make the event even that more special. I'm sure that every class feels that they had the best class but honestly, our class was really school-spirited and we have great turnouts for our reunions. I have been on the reunion committee since its inception in the mid-80s. Love it!

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

I am so glad you had this great opportunity to do this walk with the new graduates.
1976 was freakin’ awesome with the bicentennial. I was in 6th grade and it really left an impression on me.
I graduated high school in 1983. Went to my 15 yr reunion and really enjoyed reconnecting. I maintained zero friendships from high school but had some of deepest most heartfelt convos with people I thought were my enemy or who thought I was their enemy during the reunion.
Haven’t made the other reunions due to timing unfortunately. It’s awesome you keep that going!
I loved the 70s. I loved the 80s. I loved the 90s. Hell I even love the 2000s. I’m just grateful to have survived all the decades to date. Find the good stuff, no matter how small or mundane, and celebrate the hell out of it.
