I have just started having panic attacks. They also wake me in the middle of the night, then the anxiety never leaves throughout the day. I want to feel normal again too. Do you think there is something triggering your increased panic and anxiety? I have read your other blogs where the anxiety wasn't so bad. I'm so sorry you are having a hard time. I can completely relate. Hang in there.

Hello, do you have access to Ativan or Xanax? I take a VERY small dose of Ativan if I have had a fight with anxiety for quite a while and I am having trouble getting it to abate. I know the anti-anxiety med barrier is a scary one for people with anxiety (afraid of addiction, or increasing the amount too much, etc.), but it can really help even you out quickly. I wonder if you are dreaming and it is eliciting the overnight events? Ambien may also be a choice to give you sleep throughout the night. I knocked me out hard when I used it in the past. You will get past this though, don't get down...just remember that you have been there before (that is free of panic, etc.) & that that is the "real" you, the other stuff is on borrowed time & it has to go out of your life.
