Anxiety Support Group

General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Well...my car broke down due to mice getting in the wiring (a new thing to worry about anywhere I park now!) which costs a huge amount to fix. The garage are having tons of problems fixing it and now, because they are getting frustrated with diagnosing the problem, they tell me I'm holding up their lift because I wasn't with me phone for a period of 15 minutes only, during which they texted 3 times and called as well. Without another towing expense and delay I can't switch to a better garage. I was told this one was great; now I'm nervous my car will be a disaster waiting to happen even when I do get it back. I've lost my father and gone through the beginning of a divorce, moved, have new (and old) love stressors and am in a career change that isn't showing success all simultaneously. I'm trying to bear up and use these occasions to develop further strength but I just feel completely vulnerable.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Vent freely. Vent often. It may not slow down the storm season but it sure helps manage the pressures. Be gentle with yourself and patient with the process.
Here's to finding your way through to getting everything taken care of, including taking care of you, too.
One more thing I will say: I couldn't agree more that venting, writing, talking, sharing are essential. What would we do without them??
