hello everyone. I've kinda had the worst day today. I couldn't stop thinking about death and basically suicidal thoughts. I know for sure I'm NOT going to actually do it but I want to stop the thoughts RIGHT NOW ! My doctor prescribed me to Lexapro and I want to know if anyone has had experience with it and does it help. I have to be on it for 3 months. I graduate in May and I have prom on April. I want to be back to myself at least by march. Is this possible ? Will the pills help ? I start my period in a week and I think this could also be a reason I'm having these thoughts and they're getting worse. I would love to hear you guys experience

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

Stay hydrated. Practice breathing. Gentle massage will help reduce tensed muscles.
Best wishes.
I just started Lexapro yesterday for anxiety (social, general, several others...honestly was too anxious to remember the other 1-2 the doc told me). From what the doctor told me and from what I have heard, it's a gradual thing that takes 3+ week to really get going in your system.
I hope you can talk to someone live and hope today gets better.

It helps to have a plan of action - something written down that you can refer to. Set yourself a deadline, say sometime in March, and write down a list of the things that you want to accomplish by that date. If you don't reach you goal by that date, that's okay, just push it back a bit. But it really helps to have a deadline to meet. Remember, you're in charge - you determine how and when you accomplish your goals.
I wouldn't advise medication, as they all have side effects. However, ignatia amara is a natural homeopathic that really helps. No prescription needed - it's natural and no side effects. You can get it through amazon. This is the link https://www.amazon.com/Boiron-Ignatia-Amara-30c-pellets/dp/B00014EGSM Good luck!
