Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I just get so upset and so frustrated at times. I could feel like I am having a great day, and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I feel my anxiety just come on. I do not even know why either, that is what is so frustrating. I have always been a worried person, but thankfully I have never had any real tramatic thing happen to me in my life and I had a good childhood. So why do I experience this?? Why have I been going through this and getting these Panic and Anxiety attacks since I have been 11 years old?? I am sorry, I guess I am just venting. I just look at other people and so envy them at times. I wish that I was them and that I never had to experience this panic and anxiety. Then I will think that I am doing better and all of a sudden my heart palpitations start out of nowhere, or I feel like I can not breathe (all of this Covid 19 is not helping as well), I feel shakey and dizzy. I have to say that I feel like my anxiety has calmed down somewhat ever since my doctor increased my antidepressent that I am taking, but not enough at times. I am still constantly worried about my health or my heart or that something is the matter with me. Even when I am feeling good, all of these thoughts are still on my mind, just not intesified at the moment. I really feel that this whole pandemic may have brought all of this Panic and Anxiety back to me. It is just everywhere you turn :( :( I have also been experiencing headaches almost everyday now. I feel pressure around my eyes and just very tired at times and out of it. Does anyone feel like this as well with anxiety? Thank you all for listening and being here for me. It makes me feel better to get these things out at times.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Anxiety is a creative devil. It surfaces in some of the damnedest places for mysterious reasons I've never been able to get a handle on. Agonizing over the whys and wherefores only seems to escalate the phenom to ever more creative levels. Accepting my anxiety attacks at face value saves allot of precious time and allows me to more easily ply the anxiety management tools to regulate my breathing, relax clenched muscles, etc.
For what it's worth
Comparing myself to others might be the most wicked anxiety producer in my psycho baggage car. In my own case, I am more often comparing myself to my fantasies of what I believe other people are. When I start comparing my insides to other people's outsides, I seldom know much about the actual person I am comparing myself to. My real eye opener came during one of my more serene phases when I had a string of people telling me they wished they were me. Careful what you wish for, my friend. . .
Take the time to separate your thoughts.
Practice even breathing, and stop, pause, breathe, choice, until you are calm and clear headed to make a decision. Repeat as needed.
Once you get your worrying back to within range, keep practicing even breathing to find the calm in the moment. It takes work, and you can do it.
The better balance you have with your worrying ability, the better your anxiety can be your helper.
