Hello folks. I'm new here, I'm generally not a very open person. But I thought I'd give Dailystrength a try. Just to know that I'm not alone in my struggles. I have two anxiety disorders which drive me crazy to no end. It's hard leaving the house without shaking and wanting to tear up. Social anxiety disorder and Generalized anxiety disorder often make it hard for me to interact with people in my daily life. There are moments where I feel like I can manage it and then out of the clear blue, it starts all over again. For example, I went out today, one of my coping mechanisms is reading. I love books. So I went off to my local library, so many people, so many faces. I managed to smile at a few. But the whole time I felt sick to my stomach and petrified. I force myself to take part in these events so that I can learn to manage my anxiety better. Anyway, that's my introductory rant. Cheers!

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance.
