Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

The freight train from Hell is still running rough shod over the Honey Farm project. The contents of that freight train is still a more complex inventory than my arthritic old fingers care to type. Is it enough to say the ouch inventory is intense this morning? I'm running out of triage bandages and healing hopes. Feeling like a stuperstitious fool for having believed in such esoterics as Healing Hopes in the first place. Where's my Atheist Club Card. I know there are one or 50 here in my Schism of the Isms somewhere. There's one, right there on the unicorn horn aimed at my unmentionablles.
"Trust" is the word whispering through my morning meditations. My knee jerk sarcasm is to trust I am heading toward the brick wall of yet another psychotic break. The proverbial light at the end of the proverbial tunnel is *just* another psycho freight train. My place on that train is the front grill, painted on with 90 MPH velocity force. Insert Warren Zevon soundtrack here. "Poor, poor pitiful me."
As I work to calm my over-stimulated senses, the whispers of trust are sending reminders of where I have recently been trusted by people and critters. Are those gossamer threads of trust the keepers of my healing hopes?
Again, I amnae certain what I am reaching for here. Thoughts, experience, opinions and expert advice welcome. In you I trust. Be gentle, please. Feeling fragile and deeply wounded.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Not sure what the Healing Hopes is, I looked it up and found a ministry helping those with loss of family. I'm going Sherlock Holmes here and deducing from the posts title and the subsequent details that someone here wounded your trust? [puff the pipe...dramatic pause...puff the pipe] Is this a correct assumption Dr. Watson??
well, since I know very little of the culprit in Healing Hopes lets examine the weapon used instead…trust.
In my journey through life I have (it me Solomon now... not Holmes) I have realized how words like 'Hope, Faith, Love, Trust, and chocolate' have shot from cupids bow with an extra edge of pain. It wasn't until I realized I was turning 'verbs' into 'nouns' (stick with me here).
The aforementioned words (except chocolate) are actions and not objects. But (using myself as the Guinea pig) I used to treat such as physical, "I put my TRUST in you", "I was HOPING you'd have been here", " I have lost my FAITH in you", "I wanted DARK CHOCOLATE, not milk chocolate!"
The point is, by turning an action into an object makes it physical and painful when it is dropped on your metaphorical foot, many times inadvertent or unknowing. Also by making these words into physical, we feel the notion we are 'giving' such a 'wonderful' gift to another and set ourselves up for increased failure when the recipient doesn't react in the way we see as proper. Such words 'Trust, Friend, Hope, Faith, and mostly Love should be treated as they are intended. "Trust someone until they are not trustworthy, Be friends with someone until they are no longer friendly, Have Hope in something until it is reached then Hope for higher, And mostly Love someone as long as they Love you. but in the long of it (Like this reply) the 'Noun', the Physical object is You and Trust is the action you show. I could go on for a long time on this Arfie, but the unicorn wants to watch Stranger Things...the story of my life [eye roll].
Try gondolas instead of freight trains from now on, get a fat crooning Italian to steer it and sit back and enjoy the Viennian cannals over iron locked tracks. The light you see is not an approaching crazy train, just the dawn of another wonderful day. Love
Again I curse the sensory thought process which gets me lost in metaphor so easily. Will I ever be able to appreciate the spirit of light/dark metaphors without migraines or enjoy the literal migraine relief of darkness without feeling like I am condemned to Hell? Ya doesn't want the graphic imagery my mind attaches to the Toxic People metaphors. Hint: I have worked literal environmental engineering and bioremediation projects, both salaried and volunteer.
Sorting. . . Prayers both needed and appreciated.
Overall, I decided that trust is not necessary to think, to talk to other people, or to be heard. However, trust is absolutely necessary for one area, YOURSELF.
I figured out that on my worst days (when I question everything I do, and every interaction I have) if I remind myself that I CAN do it because I trust myself to be in a better place than I can usually put myself there.
HUGS!!!
Message for prayers received and sent... King Out.
Love
Thank you, King. I'll ask my neighbor's llama, but I don't believe llama's like contemporary uniforms any more than they liked the Conquistador Shining Armor and gaudy feathers. The literal Texas cardinals are ready to fly to the rescue of those Missourian imitators, though. Literal cardinals are an arrogant lot who think they can fix anything. Just ask 'em. I rank them as some of Nature's most enthusiastic armchair quarterbacks. Metaphorically speaking, of course. I betcha dollars to wishes not a one of them has the playoff schedule on their smart phones.
Prayers tucked gratefully into my metaphorical Hope Chest. Just praying. . .
You should do when I my literals slip their leash at the Ladies Room mirrors. Oopsie. . . Did *I* say that? ? ? Please don't sue me. Pretty please with youthenizers on top?
Lost in metaphor again. . . Where's my dictionary update?
I love cardinals, too. They aren't quite as opinionated as blue jays and grackles.
Lost in metaphor again. Never more.
But this is not for me.
